Taconic Marketing is a full-service online and print marketing company founded in 2006 as Derevlany Designs. In 2010, we changed our name to better reflect the diverse services we offer — from website and print design, to advertising and marketing communications.
Peggy Derevlany
Owner and lead designer, Peggy has been involved in interactive media development since 1987 with the pioneering Prodigy Services Company, and later as the Manager of Internet Services for a classified publishing company. She introduced their online classified search and established an agency business to serve the online needs of small businesses, including website and e-commerce development. Under her direction, the company won several national publishing awards for website design and usability.
Peggy has an extensive marketing background encompassing direct mail, advertising development, brand marketing and strategic planning. She brings a marketing approach to website design and to develop an online strategy that will work for your business.
Louise Iyengar
An expert application developer, Louise has more than 20 years of programming and database design experience and is proficient in several programming languages. Sensitive to the needs of the client and the end user, Louise is skilled at transforming an organization’s ideas into user friendly, efficient applications. Her professional experience includes programming positions at Fidelity Investments and the Yorktown Pennysaver. She has programmed large, complex e-commerce applications, including merchant account gateways and fulfillment house interfaces, and has developed auction sites and discussion boards.
